Supporting Local Projects

When a charity contacts us for some merchandise, we usually offer some manor of discount if at all possible. But this year we've been making a concerted effort to support local projects further in the best way we can.

The following is a couple of the projects we've supported recently with merchandise for more information about what they do and how they've been helping Sheffield and the wider community.

Migration Matters Festival

Migration Matters Festival - Celebrating Sanctuary In The Steel City.

Is a local festival held in June in various venues across the city, including Sheffield Theatres, DINA, The Showroom and Theatre Deli.

The 5 day celebration of theatre and the arts is held during refugee week and aims to showcase the diversity of our city and the positive impact it creates.

SO Africa Festival

The Spirit of Africa Festival, hosted by Utopia Theatres and Sheffield Theatres is a two day festival. That celebrates African culture from traditional and contemporary music, to film ,theatre and fashion.

A weekend of immersive culture with one of the headline acts being Akala an award winning hip hop artist, writer and poet, known more recently for is compelling lectures and journalism.
